Representin'

In the 2009 Speech from the Throne, We intoned:

As we move forward to forge new and stronger relationships for the century to come, it is essential that the concerns and aspirations of all members of the federation be taken into account. Unfortunately, Newfoundland and Labrador is not convinced that the current Federal administration, having ignored our best interests when developing domestic policy, will do any better in representing our best interests when developing foreign policy.

If the current Federal Government is not prepared to represent the best interests of provinces like ours, then we as a province will protect our best interests ourselves. To lower tariff barriers to our exports while safeguarding our fish stocks and securing markets for our seal products, we will speak up on our own behalf on the international stage...
It's a good thing Our new determination to represent Ourselves internationally is restricted to trade policy, and not matters like international security, terrorism, and human rights.

Otherwise, Dave Denine, as ostensible Minister of Inter-something, would have to join Lawrence Cannon on the tarmac at Torbay, registering Our official reprimand to the petrodictator of Libya.
